Food is excellent! Portions are humongous! Thank you Schnitzel Shack! Change nothing! You are doing an awesome job!Went back recently, there's a couple of dudes working there right now but that's it for changes. Food is still great, keep up the great work!

Moving day for a friend so we were recommended here by the movers. Food was delicious and enough for 2 meals each. Incredible value for money and friendly service.

Amazing- we tried the Schnitzel Shack for the first time and we can't say how impressed we were. First, the food were stellar but the two two amazing ladies working in the kitchen are even more fantastic. Everything was made fresh....note that you should be prepared to wait a little bit for FRESH FOOD especially if they are busy ( which they are because it is great ) BUT it is definitely worth the wait!. Portions are amazing, food is delicious and the price is right. It's wonderful to be able to support a smaller establishment who works so hard to make things special for their community. Thanks so much for the amazing dinner and memories

Growing up near Port Hope, I used to go to St. Anthony’s elementary and on lunch break, all the kids would walk to a little red shack down the street called Mother’s to get fries and gravy. Now that shack has turned into the awesome Schnitzel Shack and I couldn’t have been more excited re-live my youth! Pictures of the food won’t do this place justice! Just go, try it and you’ll see what the hype is about! Absolutely delicious in ever way! The schnitzel was so tender yet crispy, it was heavenly! Perfectly crisp fries! They also have some AMAZING gravy! I love a great rich beef gravy and this place has nailed it! Their prices are fantastic for how much food you get. Both my husband and myself couldn’t finish our meals because they really pack the box! They also have a really nice little dining patio to sit on surrounded by flowers. We will 100% be back to this lovely little gem!

Swung by this place on the way back home from the Victoria Day weekend. The food really hit the spot after the long weekend and did not disappoint. We got the Hunter Schnitzel which was nice and crispy. Highly recommend getting all the salads on the side (potato, cucumber and red cabbage). The owners are incredibly friendly, will be coming back to this place next time we are in the area. Highly recommend and will let others know to visit. It is worth the detour if your in the area. 🤤🤤

The ladies at the Schnitzel Shack are always laughing and smiling which is nice to see. This cute little spot cooks up it’s schnitzel fresh made to order and it’s delicious. Easily the best I have ever had. I love the parmesan meal, it’s amazing. Thick cut fries, also great. Portions are really big so go when your hungry. A few seats inside as well as a nice patio if the weather is nice. Unless it’s really busy, food is ready very quickly. Very popular for take out.

What a hidden gem and a great find. We luckily landed at this place for lunch while doing a day trip out at Port hope. Friendly service, great portions and amazing food. Cute patio beer garden at the back as well.

Do yourself a favor and eat here. The food is delicious, portions are huge, fresh cut fries are delicious. Super friendly service and amazing value for the money. I was very impressed. Fabulous. Went for lunch after hearing about how good this place is. It truly is fabulous. If you like large portions then this is the place for you. We sat inside where there isn’t much seating but there are outside tables. The red cabbage is so good. Will go back again for sure.

This was a random stop for me and my husband and I can’t say enough about not only the food but the service by Cindy was truly an experience to remember. We had schnitzel was incredible as well as the red cabbage and sauerkraut. I can’t say enough. I would rate them 10 stars if that was an option. Thank you all for such an amazing experience.

For 30 minutes I was 10 years old again. My grandmother made the best chicken schnitzel and eggplant parmigiana. I loved it so much, she would make it every time I visited. I really felt like I was back in her kitchen eating schnitzel with lemon and egg parm. Not only is the food delicious, the staff is terrific, you can truly tell they love what they do.
I’ll be back and back again.
